SELISE Receives BASIS Outsourcing Award 2020
The BASIS Outsourcing Award recognizes the outstanding performance of organizations and individuals in the field of outsourcing software and ITES services in Bangladesh. The award focuses on identifying excellence in the outsourcing industry based on the creation of employment and the influx of foreign currency. There are three categories of awards for companies – Outsourcing, Startup, and Export Excellence – and two other categories of awards for individuals.
The ceremony took place at the Radisson Blu Water Garden, in Dhaka where Julian Weber, Chief Executive Officer of SELISE received the award. Salman F Rahman, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Private Sector industry and Investment Affairs acknowledged all the award-winning companies’ contributions to the Government of Bangladesh’s target of reaching $5 billion export earnings in the technology industry by 2025. State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak and AKM Rahmatullah, the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, both spoke as special guests at the event conducted by BASIS president Syed Almas Kabir.
